And not just in the “ugh Im such a pig with that bread basket, lets have ‘self-loathing time’” way. I dropped to about 85lbs. It was miserable. To make things worse I wasn’t putting on fat. At all. So I worked out. And a little over a year and almost a full round of p90x later I weigh 108. And its all pretty much muscle. But Im not done yet. Im working out every morning and Im doing p90x again and training for a slew of bike races and triathlons. Id like to weigh 120 by the new year and be in better shape for these events. Finally my dreams of being an Olympic Triathlete seem attainable because Im healthy. And I guess sometimes dreams that you get when you’re  8 years old are strong enough to combat the voices of cynics if youve got the determination. Which, I do. Its just not always easy. And this is where I scribble/plan/complain/rejoice/vent/rave about it.
